The heat exchanger for using the energy of warm air comprises two cover plates arranged at a distance from one another as well as holding webs which connect the latter and consist in each case of a plurality of holding strips which can be inserted individually during assembly in accordance with progress in introducing the cooling tubes, are to be fixed with their ends to the cover plates, and have holding cut-outs for accommodating the individual cooling tubes. The cooling tubes, the cover plates and the holding strips of the holding webs consist of material, preferably plastic, which is resistant to the effect of the air to be supplied, which may contain harmful substances.
