PURPOSE:To prepare the titled powdery food preservable for a long period, by adding a specific amount of a waxy starch having a specific DE to a specific amount of the titled liquid food in terms of solid content, pulverizing the mixture by spray-drying, and sealing the product. CONSTITUTION:1pt.wt. (in terms of solid) of honey or a honey-containing liquid food is mixed with 1-1.5pts.wt. (in terms of solid) of waxy starch having a DE value of about 1-5 and saccharified with an enzyme as a drying assistant. The mixture is spray-dried at an air stream temperature of 130-160 deg.C, and the obtained powdery honey or the powdery hoeny-containing liquid food is filled in a sealable packaging material laminated with aluminum foil as quickly as possible, and sealed to obtain the objective powdery food. |
