PURPOSE:To stick a sheet to a pipe without making a clearance between the inside of the sheet and the pipe by a method wherein the insides near the seam between both side edges of a thermoshrinkable sheet are pressed on the outer circumference of the pipe to shrink the sheet thermally. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 1 to be provided has ribs 1b, 1b respectively on both side edges, is covered on its inside 1c with hot melt adhesive agent and is thermoshrinkable in the width direction. This sheet 1 is wrapped about the outer circumference of a pipe 2 so that the inside 1c of the sheet makes the inside of the pipe and the width direction of the sheet makes the circumferential direction of the pipe 2, the insides 1c', 1c' of both side edges 1a, 1a of the sheet 1 are butted against each other, then, support bars 3, 3 are attached longitudinally under the ribs 1b, 1b and pinched with clips 4, 4. Then, the support bars 3, 3 are bound by wires 5, 5 etc. to the pipe 2, the clearance A between the joint of the ends of the sheet 1 and the pipe 2 is removed, then, the sheet 1 is shrunk thermally and stuck to the pipe 1. |
