PURPOSE:To contrive to drive a motor and a printing head by the same power source and to reduce size and cost, by a method wherein a voltage impressed on a motor in a non-printing period is set to be higher than that in a printing period. CONSTITUTION:The first and second voltage-adjusting signals S1, S2 are inputted simultaneously by inputting a motor-driving signal S3, and an output voltage of a constant-voltage power source circuit 28 is set at the maximum value V3. Thereafter, when a printing region is entered, inputting of the signals S1, S2 is stopped, and the output voltage is set at the minimum value V1. When the printing region is completed, only the signal S1 is inputted, the output voltage is set at an intermediate value V2, and this condition is maintained also for a backward movement. |
