Drum brake for automobile vehicles. It comprises a pair of shoes 16, 18 bearing a regulating device 26, 28, 30 and a parking device 50. This device 50 comprises a brace 52 extending between the two shoes 16, 18 and a pair of arms 54, 56. The arms 54, 56 interact with each other by the intermediary of a connection 66 and with one of the shoes 18 by distinct connections 58, 62 in order to stress the brace 52 and the other shoe 16 by moving the said shoe 18 away during parking.
