PURPOSE:To provide a long life for a Stirling engine and to improve its reliability, by sufficiently feeding lubricating oil with the aid of a gear pump mounted to the one end of a crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:A gear pump 307 is mounted to the one end of a crank shaft 105 of a Stirling engine, and lubricating oil 113 is sucked up through a hole 301 formed in a crank case 101 and a hole 303 provided on a sealing cover 305 of a crank case. The lubricating oil is supplied through a hole 309 formed in a crank shaft 105 from the gear pump 307 to a slide part 323 between the crank shaft and a connecting rod. Further, the lubricating oil is fed through a hole 311 machined in the connecting rod to a slide part 325. Moreover, through a hole 309 formed in the crank shaft, a hole 319 in a bearing retainer 315, and a conduit 317, the lubricating oil is also supplied to a slide part 329 of a mechanical seal 321. |
