On each end of a two-armed handle part (1c), having arms (4c, 4'c) which can be moved elastically towards one another, a brush head (3f) projects at an angle relative to the plane of the handle part. The brush heads (3f) serve for the simultaneous treatment of the front and back of the teeth. Moreover, their free ends are provided with bristles which in use are directed toward the palate or the margin of the gums. The brush heads (3f) are elongate shaped parts, and the brush parts carried by them are convexly bent in two directions which are perpendicular to one another. They comprise conically flared bundles of bristles which are sunk into the brush heads (3f) with offset gaps. The length of the bristles increases toward the free end of the brush heads where the brush parts taper in the form of a wedge-shaped tip. <IMAGE>
