The introduction of a two-stage design matches the device substantially better to normal human water-consumption habits. The device runs constantly in normal operation only as a warm water producer in a preselectable low-temperature stage. Hot water must be demanded separately. As a result of this invention this can take place easily from any desired water withdrawal location. It takes place either by opening of the water tap twice in quick succession or by actuation of an electrical contact.
