The subject matter of the invention is a stable-hole winning machine which has a multi-piece cutting drum (20, 26, 28) which is carried by two pivotable arms (12) and extends along the working face (C) of the machine stable to be driven. To remove the material cut loose by the multi-piece cutting drum (20, 26, 28), two (20, 26) of the cutting drums are provided at the outer periphery with worm helices which convey the material to the side in the direction of the main face. The cutting drum (28) facing the main face is provided at the outer periphery with casting shovels which cast the material onto the face conveyor (54) running behind the stable-hole winning machine or under its pivoting arms (12). In addition, a chain (42) rotating parallel to one pivoting arm (12) can be provided for removing the material, which chain (42) is fitted with laterally projecting conveying elements. <IMAGE>
