PURPOSE:To provide a soil stabilizing composition for the improvement of poor subsoil, having delayed coagulation property, by adding a specific amount of sugar to a mixture of cement and lime. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be prepared by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a mixture of cement (e.g. Portland cement, Portland blast-furnace cement, fly ash cement, etc.) and lime (e.g. guick lime, slaked lime, magnesia lime, calcined dolomite, etc.) at a weight ratio of 99:1-70:30 and (B) 0.1- 10pts.wt., preferably 1-6pts.wt. of a sugar (preferably sucrose). If necessary, 0.1-10pts.wt., based on 100pts.wt. of the component (A), of a hydroxycarboxylic acid (preferably gluconic acid or its salt) may be added together with the sugar at a weight ratio of 75:25-25:75. |
