The blind fabric is nylon or other plastics material for transparency, free light passage, and to filter harmful solar rays. The fabric edges are folded into small section pads which slide in guides fixed to the exterior recess of the window to give lateral insulation. - The roller is housed under the lintel and the lower end of the blind fabric is inserted into an aluminium plinth which has a flexible rubber joint for connecting to the exterior window sill. An inside operated key locks the plinth to the sill.(0/0)
