PURPOSE:To enable efficient editing of a video tape by storing tape running time information from the cue point in a register and indicating it together with register number. CONSTITUTION:Information of tape running absolute time from the processor 2 of the body of a VTR1 is stored in each register of register MYF via a register Reg M for present time information of a memory 12 through a processor 11 that responds to the switch operating section 13 of an operating device 10. Contents of this memory are stored in each register of a large capacity register MYB and running time from the cue point is stored in each register of the register MYC by calculation of difference from a register TM. Cue point is set to registers Reg S0-Reg S2 and number of each register of Reg MYB is stored in Reg. BRP for reading controlling. Running time information from the cue point is indicated in a time display 14 together with register number, and editing of a video tape can be performed efficiently. |
