PURPOSE:To make the turning radius of a boom smaller by a method in which a base plate slidable in the vehicular widthwise direction is provided on the rear slewing base of the vehicle, and a driver seat is provided to one end of the vehicular widthwise side of the base plate and also a back hoe is pivotally supported on the other end in a vertically rocking manner in such a way as to enable the boom to be bent sufficiently. CONSTITUTION:A slewing base 4 is provided in a horizontally turnable manner to the rear of a vehicular body 2, and a base plate 6 is provided to the upside of the slewing base 4 in a slidable manner in the widthwise direction of the body 2. The boom 11 of an excavation mechanism 9, e.g., back hoe, etc., is pivotally supported on one side of the upper part of the base plate 2 in a vertically rocking manner, and a driver platform 8 is provided on the other side of the base plate 2. Since the boom 11 can be bent sufficiently, the excavation mechanism 9, e.g., back hoe, etc., can be mostly housed on the slewing base 4, thus enabling it to slew even in narrow places. |
