PURPOSE:To enable to prevent the impulsive trouble caused by the readhesion and natural falling of a foreign substance on a lead by a method wherein the tip on the inserting side of a shutter is formed in such a manner that the lower part of the tip has a double-step structure, an air passage is formed on the end face of said stepped structure, and the conductive foreign substance dropped and adhered to the shutter is removed by sucking. CONSTITUTION:After the shutter 7 has been superposed on the upper jig 6 wherein a lead wire 2 is inserted, they are inverted and superposed on the lower jig 5 which supporting the lead wire 2. A glass tube 4, containing a chip 3, is inserted into the large calibered part 1 of the lead wire 2. Then, a shutter 7 is pulled out as shown by an arrow in the diagram. At this time, even when a foregin substance 12 shown by a black circle drops on the lower shutter plate 9 of the shutter 7, said foreign substance is sucked from the air passage 11 when the upper lead wire 2 comes off the upper shutter plate 8, and the lead wire 2 comes in and sealed in the glass tube 4 in a clean state. Also, due to the two- step structure of the shutter 7, the impulsion generated when the upper lead wire 2 drops can be reduced. |
