The system has input and output memories to enable data to be separated from processors while a simple processor allows this data to be transferred without interruption to the controlling actions. The simple processor (1) acts as a copying unit which transmits data between input output memories and an input output buffer unit. - The memories are separated from the various processors and each have their own memory. The unit copies the input data from an input multiplexer to the input memory of each processor simultaneously. Similarly, the unit copies the output data block via the output memories to the equivalent memory block in the other processors. The transfer of data is effected without interruption, when the system is operational. DEAB- DE3123379 C The process data handling system for a processing system uses an input/output copier device between a data adapter acting as an external interface. Separate input/output memories are associated with each of the central controls. The input/output copier allows the input stages of the input/output memorises for all the central controls to be supplied with the input data simultaneously. - The data from the output stage of one central control can be copies into the same memory block of each remaining central control. It is fed to the output of the data adapter.
|
