The drive comprises motors which, via couplings actuating top and bottom motor adjustable supports, drive the needle fixed to top bar and the spiral and the bobbin located at the bottom. Electronic power or energising units on a central coordinating synchronises are also fitted. A thread tensioner is also provided in one coupling.
