THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING SHEET

PURPOSE:To prevent a sticking phenomenon in a thermal transfer recording sheet to obtain a good running properties and image, by imparting heat-resisting and slip characteristics to an ink sheet substrate. CONSTITUTION:As a substrate 1, a synthetic resin film of every kind as thin as approximately 3.5-9mum is used. As a coloring material layer 2, a pigment transfer type using a wax group as a binder is used with being coated generally about 0.5-5mum in thickness by a roll coater such as a gravure rotor. As a heat-resisting layer 3, a high-crosslinkable and heat-resisting composition of thermoplastic resin is used with being coated generally about 0.3-4mum in thickness by the same gravure rotor as that used for forming the coloring material layer. A slip layer 4 containing various slip agent is composed of a material forming a low-energy surface and formed generally substantially 0.05-1mum in thickness in a similar method to that in forming the heat-resistant layer.
