PURPOSE:To maintain software easily and surely, by storing a generic name of data for every extended equipment and attributes related to it in a maintenance program. CONSTITUTION:The maintenance program considering equipment whose extension is predetermined is prepared. A generic name of data for every extended equipment and attributes related to it are stored in this program. In case of maintenance, the generic name of data for the equipment, whose extension is predetermined, and its attributes read successively through a man-machine interface 13 are compared with stored information. If the comparison results in coincidence, read data is judged to be correct, and this data is written in each data area of a corresponding maintenance object. By this processing, software is maintained easily and surely. |
