PURPOSE:To prevent misconvergence and improve a focusing characteristic by composing the captioned device a mask for color discrimination, a screen opposing thereto and a deflection yoke which generates pincushioc magnetid field and barrel magnetic field while offcentering the magnetic field distribution against the neck part. CONSTITUTION:A shadow mask 8 for color discrimination is arranged opposing to a phosphor screen 2 while a deflection yoke 9 which generates a strong pincushion magnetic field for horizontal deflection and a strong barrel magnetic field for vertical deflection crossing orthogonally thereto, is prepared. In said deflection yoke 9, a horizontal coil 13 and a vertical coil 14 are wound around its core 15 while the coils 13 and 14 on both sides are all wound mecanically and symmetrically with respect to the central axis C1. Further, for instance, only the left side is provided with a spacer 16 on the part making contact with the neck part. Accordingly, the deflection magnetic field can offcenter the center axis C1 to C2. |
