PURPOSE:To obtain high printing quality and to enable full-color printing by irradiating a light image contg. ultraviolet rays on a film curable by ultraviolet rays and by transferring the uncured parts of the film to a material to be printed. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 1 is coated with a film 2 curable by ultraviolet rays 2. The film 2 consists of 100pts.wt. 2,2-bis(4-acryloyloxypolyethyleneoxyphenyl) propane, about 3pts.wt. 2,2-dimethoxy-2-phenyl-acetophenone as a photopolymn. initiator and a proper amount of a dye or a pigment. A light image 4 contg. ultraviolet rays is irradiated on the film 2 through a lens 3. By the irradiation cured parts 5 and uncured parts 6 are formed in the film 2. Paper 7 to be printed is superposed on the film 2, and it is pressed against the film 2 by means of a pressing roll 8 to transfer the uncured parts 6 to the paper 7 by making use of the tackiness. By making use of the tackiness of the uncured parts, high printing quality is obtd., transfer is made simple and sure, and superior printing is carried out. |
