PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily form a protective coated film on the outer surface of an open-freighted heap, by spraying, on the outer surface of the open-freighted heap, a filler selected from a granular material group consisting of the same material as and similar materials to that of the heap, and then by coating, to the outer surface of the heap, a paint which will be water-insoluble after being dried. CONSTITUTION:On the outer surface of an open-freighted heap, is sprayed a filler selected from a granular material group consisting of the same material as and similar materials to that of the heap. A paint which will be water-insoluble after being dried is sprayed on the outer surface of the heap to easily form a uniform and continuous coated film on the outer surface of the heap. Thereby, there are aimed at providing water-tight and dust-free capabilities to the heap, and as well at preventing the heap from oxidizing and deteriorating. In this case, the open-freighted heap is of a granular material, such as, for example, coal or wooden powder. Further, the filler is selected from a granular material group consisting of materials having the same function or use as, or similar functions or uses to that of the heap. The granular size of the filler is adjusted to have more than 80% of the material which may pass through a 5-mesh screen and more than 20% of the material which may pass through 40-mesh screen. The paint may belongs to either one of a water emulsion group and an organic solvent group if the paint will be water-insoluble after being dried. |
