PURPOSE:To aim at making a bucket belt conveyor lightweight, and at enhancing the carrying capacity of the same, etc., by constituting the main body of the belt conveyor with a plurality of segmented unit conveyor belts which are connected one another, at their both ends, with joint members, and as well by attaching buckets to the joint members. CONSTITUTION:The main body 2 of a belt conveyor is constituted with a plurality of segmented unit conveyor belts 12. Each end 12a of each unit conveyor belt 12 is formed with a piano hinge 13 along the widthwise direction of the belt 12 so that each adjacent unit conveyor belts 12 are connected together with their piano hinges 13 being engaged together, by means of pins 14 piercing through the piano hinges 13. Further, each pin 14 is attached, at its both ends, with a bucket mounting bracket 3 on the inside of which a bucket 1 is attached by pins 15. Further, guide rollers 16 are rotatably fitted to both outsides of each mounting bracket 3 with the use of the pins 15, and are movably engaged in guide rails 17 laid along both sides of the belt conveyor main body 2. With this arrangement, the bucket belt conveyor may be made lightweight, and the carrying capacity, etc., of the conveyor, may also enhanced. |
