PURPOSE:To form beautifully a corner part with ease by bending both sides of a metallic plate to form side pieces then bending both ends and folding the end of each side piece by using pressure dies. CONSTITUTION:A press die 5 is disposed between side pieces 2 and 2 and a folding seam is made in the end part of the piece 2 by a press die 9 in the stage of folding the end part of a metallic plate 10 formed with the piece 2 on both sides. A folded piece 4 is pressed to the hollow surface part 6 of the die 5 while the end part of the plate 10 is folded by a pair of the press dies 5, 8. The corner part of the metallic panel formed in such a way has the folded piece 4 clinging to an end piece 3, and has the distinct vertex at the corner where the respective ridgelines are straight. |
