PURPOSE:To supply an accurate amount of lubricating oil in accordance with the speed of an engine so as to eliminate wasteful horsepower consumed by an oil pump, by controlling a supply amount of the lubricating oil through a control means on the basis of detection of a speed detection sensor. CONSTITUTION:An engine 1 is lubricated by a variable displacement plunger pump 2. A swash plate 5 of the pump 2 can adjust a delivery amount of oil from the pump 2 by changing a tilt angle of the swash plate. The tilt angle of the swash plate 5 is regulated by an actuator 6. A stroke of the actuator 6 is controlled by a microcomputer 9. A detecting output of a rotary speed detector sensor 10 is input to the microcomputer 9. In such way, an accurate amount of lubricating oil can be supplied in accordance with a speed of the engine, thus wasteful horsepower consumed by the oil pump can be eliminated. |
