PURPOSE:To obtain brazed parts which are free from peeling in corrosive environment in the stage of welding a Ti member and a Cu member by using silver solder by plating beforehand Ni, Pd, etc. on the joint surface of the Cu member. CONSTITUTION:A brow lug 1 which is a part of a spectacle frame is formed of Cu or a Cu alloy, such as german silver, and a rim 5 is formed of Ti or a Ti alloy. Ni, Pd or Ni-Pd is plated over the entire part of the brazing surface of the lug 1 which is the Cu member, in the stage of joining the Cu member and the Ti member which are the lug 1 and the rim 5. The ends 6, 7 of the rim 5 are brought into contact with each other and the centerline 4 of the lug 1 is made coincident with the boundary surface thereof. The lug is then brazed to a brazing surface 2 by using silver solder. The brazed part which is free from peeling in the corrosion environment where the sea water or sweat contacts with the same is obtd. by the above-mentioned method. The method is applicable to brazing of the spectacle frame and other intricate parts. |
