PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduced signal with a fine shape recording pit and high SN ratio by using organic dye and gelatin as recording media to be recorded and reproduced by laser. CONSTITUTION:Aluminum is evaporated on a glass substrate 1 as a reflecting film and the evaporated surface is coated with phenol resin AZ-13503 by a spinor. After heating and setting the resin for 4hr at 200 deg.C, a recording film 4 is formed with three kinds of materials by spin coating method. If each disc is recorded by an output with 830nm wavelength or 15mW semiconductor laser light 5, the disc consisting of only dye and the one consisting of organic dye and nitrocellulose films have moderately dropped edges of recording pits, but the recording pit of the disc consisting of the mixed film of the organic dye and gelatin has an edge with a sharp shape. As the result of reproducing, the SN ratio of the former two discs are about 15dB and 20dB respectively, but the disc consisting of the mixed film with gelatin generates a reproducing signal of about 40dB. |
