<p>PURPOSE:To secure safety in time of driving a bucket for operation as well as to make improvements in the efficiency of cargo-handling, by setting a horizontally shifting start point of the bucket to a point on the line horizontally shifted downward at the offing side past a safety point. CONSTITUTION:A safety point P is set in position upward a hatch coaming of a ship 3 nearby the shore 4, and each point on a straight line A leading to the upside of a hopper 2 past this safety point P is assumed to be a trolley's traverse starting point. And, from a position distant away by (a) length from the safety point P in the straight line A to the offing side, the straight line A portion between intervals at the offing side is altered to a straight line A, shifted horizontally downward as far as a portion for (b) length. Each length, (a) and (b) aforesaid, is to be set so as not to cause a bucket past a poit Q to become the height of below the safety point P like a shifting locus B1. According to this method, when the bucket that crabs a load out of the inside of the ship 3 is made to go up at the more offing side than a P, pont, the trolley is forced to go sideways to the shore 4 side at that point that the bucket reaches a Q1 point and made to pass the safety point P by way of a shifting locus B2.</p> |
