PURPOSE:To facilitate slip taking-out operation in a slip receiving device such as an optical character reading device (OCR) by shifting a receiver to a slip taking- out position with a shifting means when a certain amount of slips received in the receiver are detected. CONSTITUTION:When a slip receiver 21 having a preset slip stopper 29 corresponding to the size of the slip 2 is in a receiving position shown in the drawing, the read and processed slips 2 are received in the receiver 21 in the direction of broken line arrow. When a certain amount of slips 2 are received in the receiver 21, a lever of a switch circuit 23 is pushed up to provide the turned-on condition. Then, a linear motor 27 is operated by a control circuit 24 so that the receiver 21 is pushed out along a rail 22 through the lever 28. And when the receiver 21 moves to a slip 2 taking-out position to turn on a detector 26, the operation of the motor 27 is stopped. Then the receiver 21 is taken out of the rail 22 by an operator to take out the slips 2. |
