PURPOSE:To execute uniform recording on the whole surface of a magnetic recording disc by penetrating a magnetic cylinder into a bearing of a recording and reproducing head and fitting sliding pieces contacting with the inner peripheral part and outer peripheral part of the magnetic recording disc to the magnetic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic cylinder 12 is formed by an octagonal cylinder and the bearing 10 holds four rotors 24 by a blacket 23. Said sliding pieces 13 are fixed on both ends of said magnetic cylinder 12 by set-screws 25 and elastic contacts 26 are attached to the lower ends of these sliding pieces 13. The stylus pressure of a stylus part 19 of a main magnetic pole 7 to the magnetic recording disc 14 is adjusted by adjusting a balance weight 30, and while rotating the magnetic recording disc 14, a signal is sent and recorded to/on the recording and reproducing head 11 or the signal is reproduced by the recording and reproducing head 11. Since a magnetically closed circuit 18 is formed by the main magnetic pole 7, the bearing 10, the magnetic cylinder 12, the sliding pieces 13, and a horizontal magnetic film 15, the recording and reproducing sensitivity is high. |
