PURPOSE:To decrease considerably a moisture content by providing freely rotatably an endless belt-like filter cloth which grasps a material to be treated under pressure together with one of both filter cloths, is separate from both filter cloths and moves differentially in the state of having a difference in traveling speed on the down stream side of a zigzag route. CONSTITUTION:An endless belt-like filter cloth 14 which grasps a material to be treated under pressure together with one of both filter cloths 4, 6, is separate from the cloths 4, 6 and moves differentially in the state of having a difference in traveling speed is provided freely rotatably on the down stream side of a zigzag route in a belt press type dehydrator. More specifically, the material dehydrated through the zigzag route is grasped between the one cloth 4 and the cloth 14 and is subjected to a shearing dehydration effect by a differential movement, whereby said material is dehydrated. The moisture content of the material to be treated is thus decreased considerably. |
