摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the contact resistance in the interface between the electrode and the solid electrolyte so as to improve the characteristic of a solid electrolyte battery by making at least one of the electrodes by fusing an electrode mixture to a given surface of the solid electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode 2 is made by, for example, placing a positive mixture consisting of vanadium pentaoxide and molybdenum trioxide on one surface of a solid electrolyte 1, then heating the positive mixture to 500-700 deg.C causing it to be molten and fused to the solid electrolyte 1. A negative electrode 3 consists of, for example, a lithium metal plate pressed and affixed to the other surface of the solid electrolyte 1. Next, the electrode bodies of such constitution are incorporated in a battery case consisting of a positive case 5 to the inner surface of which a positive current collector 4 is fixed and a negative case 7 to the inner surface of which a negative current collector 6 is fixed, thereby completing a battery. As a result, the internal resistance of the battery decreases greatly.
