PURPOSE:To obtain the rigidity required for manufacturing and pressure-resisting deformation and the property of sealing required for leakage by integratedly providing a packing made of thermoplastic resin on a metal sealing plate through a thermal adhesive primer coat by way of adhesion. CONSTITUTION:At least the lower surface of a metal cathode side sealing plate 1 is coated with a thermal adhesive primer coat 6 and a packing 7 made of thermoplastic resin is integratedly provided through this coat 6 by way of thermal adhesive. For example, the sealing engagement section 10 of this packing 7 is a recessed groove, and the opening end edge of a zinc can engages with this recessed groove and sealing is performed by the good cushion of the packing. Since this sealing engagement section 10 is also made to thermally adhere to the metal sealing plate 1 through a thermal adhesive primer layer 6, the defect of the conventional packing that the sealing engagement section 10 is spread in the inward and outward directions of the diameter and cracks are generated is eliminated effectively. |
