摘要 PURPOSE:To measure securely the shape of three-dimensional parts with high accuracy in a short time by measuring the shape and size of the three-dimensional parts by arithmetic processing in accordance with the detected information on an edge part and the information on the extent of movement, and calibrating automatically the relation between the relative positions of plural optical image-forming devices which are used in the stage of measurement to form images by classifying the same. CONSTITUTION:The transmitted image obtd. by irradiating light to the parts set in a jib 4 is fed to an optical image-forming device 14 side. A section 14a functions as an optical system for measuring a corner part and a section 14b functions as an optical system for measuring a center part. The classified image-formation corresponding to the three-dimensional constitution is accomplished on the basis of image coupling. The edge part of the transmitted image is detected with image sensors 27a, 27a, 27b, 27b. The coordinates for the central position of a through-hole 4-13 for calibration, the detected information on the extent of movement measured by a mechanism 13 for detecting the extent of movement and the detected information on the shape of the edge part are inputted to a computer 29, and are converted to the actual shape and dimensional value in accordance with the operational processing of the computer 29, whereby the size of the three-dimensional parts is securely measured with high accuracy by a simple operation.
