PURPOSE:To obtain a clear picture free of ground staining through simple constitution by providing a means which is arranged on the rear surface side of a recording body of a development part and generates a magnetic field in the same direction with a magnetic field generated in a magnetic latent image area. CONSTITUTION:A ferromagnetic layer 1b provided on the base material 1 of the magnetic recording body 1 is magnetized as shown by (b), but a latent image shown by (a) is formed according to a picture signal. Then when an external magnetic field is applied from the magnetic field generating means 2 provided on the rear side of the recording body 1, magnetic fields at point A and B cancel each other to be thinned and magnetic toner becomes harder to stick; and the magnetic fields increase at points C, D, and E. A magnetic latent image is formed by a thermal head 6 and the magnetic generating means 2 only generates the magnetic field in the same direction with the magnetic field generated in the magnetic latent image area at the development part 7 to prevent the ground staining by the simple constitution, thereby obtaining a high-contrast picture. |
