PURPOSE:To reduce the number of memories and to accelerate the processing speed by giving a unitary control to the environmental conditions in the form of the state of an information processor and using a mask pattern with notice given to the features of each input event to erase the undesired part to obtain an index for state replacement. CONSTITUTION:A mask pattern table 11 is retrieved by an input event to select a mask pattern, and an AND is secured with the present state with elimination of an undesired part. Thus a present state set after the working is set to a register 11'. Then a state check table 12 corresponding to the input event is obtained, and then the table 12 is retrieved in the present state set after the working of the register 11' to obtain a state replacement index and a processing index. The processing is carried out in accordance with the obtained processing index, and the bit to be replaced is erased with an AND pattern. While, the bit to be replaced is set with an OR pattern. Thus the present state is replaced. Thus the number of register states is reduced for the table 12. This accelerates the processing speed. |
