The present invention relates to a device for manufacturing combustible items from organic waste. This device is characterised in that it comprises a casing 1, 4 in which the waste 18 is collected in a special shape, an extrusion tube 6 extending into this casing, means 19, 21 for compressing the waste in the extreme inside part of the extrusion tube 6 forming a compression chamber and means 27, 29 of injecting, into this compression chamber, a fatty and inflammable liquid in order to form, at the output of the extrusion tube, a compact sausage 31 of waste particles agglomerated by the liquid which itself serves to ignite the wick thus formed. <IMAGE>
