PURPOSE:An apparatus, equipped with simultaneously rotatable two blade assemblies having plural disk blades mounted at a suitable interval in parallel to give suitably spaced alternate blade tips, and capable of forming alternate cuts in the long direction of a plate KONJAK (devil's-tongue jelly). CONSTITUTION:An apparatus for forming cuts having two simultaneously rotatable blade assemblies 8 having plural parallel saw-toothed disk blades 11 to give suitably spaced alternate blade tips, a feed inlet 6 for a plate KONJAK (devil's- tongue jelly) 17 above the blade assemblies 8 and a delivery outlet 3 below the blade assemblies 8. Thus, alternate cuts can be formed in the long direction of the plate KONJAK 17, and the permeation area of a broth for a cooked food is increased to facilitate the seasoning. A nice cooked plate KONJAK dish can be prepared, and the resultant plate KONJAK having the cuts therein can be used as a material for preservation or cooking in the same way as in the conventional plate KONJAK. |
