PURPOSE:To improve the workability of the connection between plates and accurately connect the plate without generating any distortion from the plate by fitting an insulating plate and a thin plate made of lead alloy with the insertion holes of the lug of each assembled element to the lug and making a heater device contact and fusing it. CONSTITUTION:An assembled element 5 is formed by alternately overlapping a number of anode plates 1 with slightly longer lugs 3 and cathode plates 2 with slightly longer lugs 4. A polyethylene insulating plate 6 with the insertion holes 7 of the lugs is fit in the lugs 4 and 3 and the same insertion holes 9 are provided on the upper part and then a lead or lead alloy thin plate 8 with an inter- cell connecting riser 10 is fit on one end. Then a heater device is made to contact from the upper surface of the thin plate 8 and is fused and then at the same time a strap is obtained by fusing it to the lug. |
