PURPOSE:To eliminate such irrationality that oscillation due to imbalance resulting from bending occurs when a rotating shaft body is incorporated in a product, by finding the amount of imbalance due to the bending of the rotating shaft body and performing arithmetic processing together with the amount of weight imbalance, and correcting the imbalance. CONSTITUTION:Pickups 19 and 20 are provided corresponding to the bearing part 1c of the rotating shaft body 1 in addition to pickups 13 and 14 connected to bearings 2 and 3 of an imbalance measuring machine, and the curvative of bending delta of the rotating shaft body 1 is measured as an X and a Y component. When the amount of weight imbalance is measured, the amounts of imbalance of bearing parts 1a and 1b are detected in the directions H and V on correction surfaces of counter weights 4 and 5 and the amount of weight imbalance and the amount of imbalance are put together and processed by an imbalance amount arithmetic circuit to find the corrected amounts of imbalance on correction surfaces H and V of the counter weights 4 and 5.
