PURPOSE:To adjust the resonance frequency of a dielectric resonator by sticking synthetic resin to the resonator. CONSTITUTION:Dielectric resonators 2a, 2b, and 2c resonate at frequencies a little bit higher than a desired resonance frequency. When synthetic resin is stuck to a dielectric resonator, its resonance frequency decreases. For this purpose, the sticking amount of synthetic resin is adjusted to obtain resonance at the desired frequency. When synthetic resin containing the same material with the dielectric resonators is used, the degree of resonance frequency variation is large. Further, the temperature compensation of the resonance frequency is performed by using synthetic resin with proper temperature characteristics. |
