Thermal relay having positionally adjustable bimetallic strips. Each bimetallic strip 33 is fixed onto a support 32 which can be oriented about a pivot 18 and which can be elastically deformed in a plane PP' passing through the axis XX' of the said pivot with the aid of a locking screw 36 so as to impart to a tooth 51, of the support able to bite into the casing 2, an elastic force F which is amplified by a lever effect.
