The spraying equipment has a connection allowing it to be connected to a driving shaft on a tractor. This connection includes a gearbox with an input spindle parallel to an output spindle. The output shaft carries two spaced apart gear pinions and the input shaft carries two gearwheels mounted on a common slider. By working the slider outward in either direction, the speed ratio can be altered. On the front of the gearbox is a handle which is swung over through an angle of 180 degrees for these two positions. When in its middle position, the slider is in its central position, so that the drive is interrupted.
