The invention relates to a radiator tank and expansion vessel for a heat exchanger such as a radiator in a cooling circuit for an internal-combustion engine, which comprises a pipe or tube for the degassing of the liquid circulating through the exchanger. The expansion vessel 12 comprises an annular groove 34 which receives the outlet 32 of the degassing tube or pipe 28 for guiding the air- or gas-bubbles upwards, away from a lower pipe 21 providing a connection between the expansion vessel and the radiator tank 11. The invention applies particularly to the radiators of motor vehicle engines. <IMAGE>
