In a sample extraction device for gaseous emissions having an extracting probe carrier including a heated extraction probe tube, a heated filter connected downstream of the extraction probe tube and including a closable filter chamber to receive a filter medium, and at least one gas cylinder connected downstream of the extraction probe tube, these components of the apparatus are individually assembled and supported at the measuring location. In order to make possible simpler handling and simpler assembly at the measuring location, the extraction probe tube (11) and the filter chamber (12) are made so as to be mutually integral and are arranged together in the heated extraction probe tube (1), the filter chamber closure (26) is arranged in a wash bottle carrier (23) in which the wash bottle is arranged which is connected, for gas conduction, to the filter chamber closure, and the extraction probe carrier (1) and the wash bottle carrier (23) can be coupled together at their mutually opposed ends (7,25) and close, in the coupled state of the two carriers of the filter chamber closure (26), the filter chamber (12), the extraction probe tube and the filter chamber and/or the filter chamber closure being mounted displaceably against the force of at least one spring (13, 31). <IMAGE>
