The fluidised-bed drier consists of a drier housing (6), a vibratory conveyor (4) with a perforated vibratory-conveyor trough (8), an air-supply box (14) arranged beneath the vibratory-conveyor trough, and a fluidised bed (34) running above the vibratory-conveyor trough. The air flow through the perforations (21) of the vibratory-conveyor trough has a direction component in the conveying direction (22) of the material. The direction of vibration of the vibratory conveyor (4) is opposed to the conveying direction of the air flow. <IMAGE>
