A device for forming and delivering counted packages consisting of a number of flat individual products made of paper, cellulose wadding or the like. The individual products (3) are fed by means of a conveyor-belt system (1) to a stacking device (4) which has an ejection device (8) arranged above the conveyor-belt system and a collecting track (20) arranged below the conveyor-belt system. On the collecting track (20), the individual products are discharged as a continuous stack (7). To ensure that predetermined individual products (13) in the stack (7) are displaced, use is made of a device (19) which makes it possible for the conveyor belt speed to be changed to a higher or lower value for a limited period of time and for this speed to be returned to its starting value. Said device (19) has a driving belt (11) which is guided round a drive shaft (21) of the conveyor-belt system (1) and, in succession, round a first deflection roller (16a), a driven roller (15) connected to the driving device (22), and a second deflection roller (16b). The two deflection rollers (16a, 16b) and the driven roller (15) are arranged on a swivel plate (14) which can be swivelled about the axis of rotation of the driven roller (15). The swivel plate (14) is caused to swivel by means of an actuating cylinder (17). During the swivelling operation, the deflection rollers (16a, 16b) produce an additional movement of the driving belt which is added to or subtracted from the rotational movement. <IMAGE>
