A light stretching exercise aid provides light stretching exercises (stretching physical exercises), particularly streching motions for the achilles tendons and calves, and can also be used as foot-stepping health aid. This aid comprises a support base (1), a stepping base (2) tiltably linked at one end via a hinge to the support base (1), an angle-regulating member (3) interposed between the bases (1) and (2) for keeping the angle between the bases (1) and (2) at a predetermined angle, and a stopper (4) at the rear of the bases (2) and (1). A semicylindrical member (21) formed with a curved surface corresponding to the arch of the instep of the foot is mounted on the upper surface of the stepping base (2). Accordingly, the position of the angle-regulating member (3) can be varied, thereby changing the angle between the bases (1) and (2) in response to the flexibility of the human body as convenient for light streching exercises. When the member (3) is removed, the base (2) is lowered and the exercise aid can be used as a foot-stepping health aid. |
