An adjusting device for draw-in members on harvesters possesses a preselection device for the setting of a piston/cylinder unit, by means of which the height of the draw-in member is adjusted. The preselection device possesses two different setting ranges, specifically a setting range for the ground pressure of the draw-in member and a further range for the distance of the draw-in member from the ground. A common actual-value transmitter or a plurality of these can be provided for the two setting ranges.
