The invention relates to a valve for a line carrying explosive fluids, having a valve cone and a valve seat. A valve is detonation-proof from only one side. Stop-cocks are therefore normally used. However, when a stop-cock is operated, the flow path is interrupted or released abruptly. However, ignition of the explosive fluid can be initiated as a consequence of adiabatic compression. As a shut-off fitting which is detonation-proof from both sides and in which the formation of pressure shocks during its operation is prevented, a valve is proposed according to the invention which is characterised by a further valve cone which is arranged in front of the first valve cone in the flow direction of the fluid, and by a further valve seat which interacts with the further valve cone. In this case, the valve seats are arranged between the two valve cones.
