PURPOSE:To obtain a simultaneous grinding type bearing body with which mass production at low cost is permitted and the finishing accuracy of ball transfer surfaces is superior, by simultaneously grinding four stripes of ball transfer surfaces which are arranged on the both sides of a hollow recessed part. CONSTITUTION:A bearing body 1 consisting of a block body having a sectional form in ?-form is equipped with a nearly rectangular hollow recessed part 2 at the center part, and skirt parts 3 and 4 at the right and left of the recessed part 2 interposed. At the corner parts on the both sides of the recessed grooves 5 and 6 having a trapezoidal sectional form, ball transfer surfaces 7-10 each of which has a nearly equal radius of curvature to the radius of the ball are formed in the axial direction over the whole length of the body 1. Since the dimension accuracy of these surfaces 7-10 is exceedingly high, generation of chattering between the body 1 and the transfer surfaces 7-10 of a track board is prevented. Therefore, a simultaneous grinding type bearing body with which mass production is permitted and the finishing accuracy of the ball transfer surfaces is superior can be obtained. |
